Can you heat treat 440c or ats34 with a torch and a oven to any success? If so can someone give me some information? Happy Holidays!

I wouldn't put my name on it!! I have all mine treated by Rob Simonich. He's excellent!! Even includes cryo quenching. Stainless is real particular and you gotta really know what you're doing to get it right. Take care! Michael

rob has great pricing too. i've sent all of my blades to rob (except 2). i plan to continue sending them to him. his heat treating is definely the best.
