I know that Busse has their own formula for steel (INFI) and their guarded heat treating method. This question does not pertain to those.
But I have seen some models of SR and Busse knives that are made from more common steels such as D2. Does SR and Busse use a similar guarded heat treating method on those steels as well? Making them more durable than other knives on the market using D2, etc...? Thanks.
