Heat treating

I finally got my knife out of S90v ready for heat treat I believe, but I have a couple of questions, firstly I'm thinking of using Paul Bos for my heat treater but does he cryo treat stainless blades? Also is there a minimum size of a blade that can be heat treated? and I heard somewhere that S90v can only achieve Rc 59 or so, I was going to have it tempered to 61 but is this even possible? My edge got thinner when I was polishing it and it's currently .012" thick, is this too thin? Thanks and sorry for all the questions

I just sent off 5 blades to Paul, very nice guy. Fist time for me also. My blades were made from S7 so no help there. If you give him a call he will let you know exactly what to do.

Hello, Paul may turn you down, he tries to stay away from 90V due to the high temp reqd. RC 61 is possible but I have found 60 to be the best balance for bending toughness. I can do a few blades from time to time, so if you want to talk give me a call or email. Phil
