Heating Kydex in Oven

Is it safe to heat kydex in an oven where food is cooked?

I am making a sheath for a machete and the toaster oven I have for kydex use only isn't big enough....

I used to use my large oven and I haven't had any problems. That I know of lol. I am sure it is fine. I used my oven for a little over a year of sheath making.

It stinks things up, who knows what it can do... I imagine there haven't been studies
