This is a heavy variation of the light chopper in .260" 3V. It weighs 23 ounces. I have no plans to make this a standard pattern because I feel it's too heavy to be practical, but sometimes a stout indestructible knife is fun so I went ahead and did a few of these while I was setup to prototype the light chopper.

~16 total length, ~10" blade, 23 oz, balances about an inch and a half into the blade. Sharpened 20 DPS. About .045" behind the edge. It is a big dumb knife, but it's fun. :D

I dig it...bigger and heavier is definitely my preference in a chopper. Excellent work Nathan.

Yes you should make both as some like heavy and some like light just like in women. I tend to like mine lighter though. :D Nice work, I want to pick up one of your hunting knives myself one day.

nice! that would be awesome to take out in the woods, or keep in the truck. that thing is a beast, I bet it feels monstrous in hand.

I'll post up a vid or two once I get a chance to spend some time with some timbers.
