I'm looking for a new heavy duty backpack. Something made from 1000 denier or better fabric, around 2000 cu. in. size, and with more pockets than my Blackhawk Industries 3-Day Assault Pack(a very good pack that I've had for at least 6 years now). Thanks.

Have you looked at Maxpedition? You can add more pockets to their bags if you need more room. I've had a Condor for a couple of months and love it. Still haven't broken it in!

How much do you want to spend?

No more than $120. I just thought of something, I could probably get the Eagle version of my pack and that pack organizer that Spec-Ops sells. Or one of those Maxpedition packs with the same organizer...

EAGLE does make some upper echelon gear. Top notch kit.

Are any of these packs available in brown? Black, OD, Woodland, and Tan seem to be the popular colors.

I've not seen any of the military type packs in brown.
I use Blackhawk 3 day, and the Maxpedition Vulture. I miss the organizer pocket like in a Maxpedition Condor.
I have friends who use the Spec Ops Pac Rat to organize in their Eagle 3 day and the others I mention.
SIgh... Looks like that's the only way to have the mil spec and organization.

I'm gonna have to try out a Pac Rat.
I like the Khaki/tan as it makes it easier to see inside the pack.
