If your dogs are like mine a standard dog toy last about 45 seconds. Previously the best longest lasting toy they had was when they stole my filson tin cloth hat.

Anyway I got one today "tuffie" that's lasted all afternoon with no damage so far!

Cool! Our labby, Sam, is pretty decent on his toys, but destroys nearly everything else. Today, he dragged a 7-foot branch in though the open back door, and chewed it to splinters on the floor.

Anything made of plastic is fair game.

One of the things he's nuts for is my wife's "scrunchies", those little elastic thingies you put around your (well, not my...) ponytail. He doesn't eat 'em, but he loves to steal 'em.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to try one out! It gets tiresome picking up various little pieces of torn up toys all the time. Although, I can't imagine that my Malinois won't get to the squeakers in due time.

Your dog has obviously never tried a steak done by my mother-in-law. :(

My boxer used to eat steak bones like they were carrots. Chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp. Gone.

Your mother-in-law could have cooked for my grandfather. He wouldn't eat meat unless it was brown, dry, and ... durable.

LOL! Was he English? :D

I used to buy my dogs toys to carry around, but now I just get them each a heavy beef soup bone from the butcher every Friday night! I don't know how a dog can tell what day of the week it is, but when I come home on Friday night, even if I don't have a bone with me, they are all over me!

I've tried the gummabone, nylabone, but the dogs won't chew them. Pressed rawhide is pretty durable (they will chew it up but it will take a lot longer than regular chew toys) and the dogs seem to like them.

Ours is half rot and half border collie.

She eats the wrapped chews like a popsicle...

Yup, I've tried the rubber tire toy from PetSmart, and she won't play with it...
