Heavy duty field knife

As per customer specs, here is a heavy duty field knife made with D2 steel, 3/16" thick with a 1 1/2" wide drop point blade that's 5 1/2" long. It has a heavy N/S guard with bone scales and brass pins. Thanks for looking

Wow! Man that's heavy duty Scott! I don't think you hurt that baby driving over it with a tank. Your customer must be a tough sort, and planning to put his new knife to a real test. That's nicely done, especially the finish on D2. Thanks for sharing,

Thanks Dave. Believe it or not, this is the second of it's kind that I made for him. He bought one two years ago and wanted another just like it. Beats me but he must like it enough for a second. He said he uses it for camping.
