I just handled a Spyderco Chinook at the nearby Brick and Morter and was very impressed with its strength. I would however, desire a blade style like the Strider AR with the Spydercos lock back. Anybody seen what I'm looking for?

There were some favorable reviews in the review forum.

Really like the AG Russel Strikeforce, one of these days I have to step up to the plate and order one. I Like lockbacks and this is a heck of a nice one.

Nugget, spend the dough and get a Strider AR if you can find one, best hardcore/heavy duty folder out there bar none. I have 7 Striders as of now with more to come. They are not cheap but worth the price of admission.

Thanks for the replys,
The problem with the Strider is that its a linerlock (I Think?)
and I much prefer a lockback.
The StrikeForce looks great. Any idea how thick the blade is.
The Chinook impresses me with its construction, weight, steel and the fact its a lockback.

I still fail to see the "problem" with the Striders liner lock. I would trust an AR over the Chinook's lock (I have nothing against the Chinook  ) The Striders are in a class of their own. IMO, no other knife is even close to being as tough.
Matt
