The Busse Company Store Heavy Duty answers the call for those who prefer a thicker blade for every day carry. The .211" thick blade features a 2/3 height flat ground blade for excellent cutting geometry and exceptional strength in such a light blade.

mmmmm??? i don't know, some like um long and some like them to be fat....

for me i like the mean street, meaner street, or active duty length if it's for edc. the old badger's are the top of the limit for daily carry hours on end.

but i hear guys carry outlaws and steel hearts all the time, everyday!

thanks, i like the busse colors for when i'm drinking and might drop my knife, makes it easier to find amoungst the beer cans and mud.

camo is cool too, we're trying to carry both @ the company store :thumbup:
 
I'm wondering how much lighter this will be as compared to my Meaner Streets. I have wanted something a tad lighter and have been unable to get an AD or a Leaner Meaner.

With the Heavy being almost as thick as the Meaner, but shorter, and with less material on the butt end, I would imagine there will be a substantial reduction in weight but will still have the satisfying heft of a thick blade. May very well be the perfect EDC.
 
Just what I had in mind! I will be checking the Company Store website more-or-less hourly until they show up for order.

are they gonna be sterile or will they have the Busse logo?

I know the one in the pic has the logo,,was just wandering if the others will have the logo also :cool:

i seen them on the Busse store site this morning,,,if my memory serves me correctly,,i think they were $176.00. :cool:

they were there one minute then they were gone :eek:
 
:cool: This is perfect! Basically the same thickness as the Model T but more compact, just what I've been wanting! Are they going to be available in any other color combinations? Maybe a black/tan, all tan, or DC? Also, will there be any sterile versions or will they all come with the Busse Combat logo?

It is INFI, and I believe that the blade is 3.5 inches.
