So, everyone has blathered about 'em and drooled over 'em. So when will they be in the Busse store? Another question. Do you think we will ever get an Anoerexic Fusion Battle Mistress (3/16ths)? Busse mysteries - worse than figuring out where Jimmy Hoffa is.

They've decided not to sell them after all. Probably for the best, there doesn't seem to be much interest in them. Most people seemed to be annoyed that they couldn't just snag one at their own convenience, so they seem to have just lost interest altogether. Poor Jerry. If only he could figure out how to run things better.

I would think the LE is considered the HFBM. I could be wrong. Heck, I've been wrong before. . .today! ;)

The LE is an LE meaning Limited Edition and even heavier than a Heavy FBM. These new knives are special runs similar to the Heavy Hearts that are only sold on the Busse Store Site. The LE's are numbered and the Heavy FBM's probably won't be. The LE's are satin finished and the Heavies are painted. You could call these "The poor man's LE" and will formidable choppers for all those backyard cowboys, farmers, ranchers and general knife "nut cases".

What are they painted with? Finger paints?

Before you go too deep into correcting folks about terminology and technicalities, I believe the exact term coined for these from the Stinker's thread was Fat Mistress. Noone's ever called them a Heavy FBM but you. Thanks for clearing up what LE means though.

Wouldn't the Mag Fat Mistress be heavier because of the saber grind making for thicker stock further down the knife than the LE?
Isn't it made from an LE blank?

As far as technicalities go, I didn't coin the Heavy epiteths, twas pbubsy who first called 'em Heavy. I think we'll just have to wait for them to come onto the site for us to know the real terminology that will be applied. Whether it will be Heavy Fusion Battle Mistress or Fat Honker - only time will tell. Wishful thinking to try and instill order into chaos. Cool blade though.

I am going to call mine Fat Honker if I score:D

Here's some other info to toss into the mix.
I guess these really are the Heaviest Mistresses.

she measures .310 and is wicked scary sharp, the standard scales feel just like mags would on a standard 1/4"er. she weighs in at 1lb 15 1/4 oz. (31.25oz)!!!
Some recent additions:

FMBLE - 29.65 oz
CGFBM w. G10 Mags - 28.0 oz.
HHFSH w. Mags - 23.85 oz
HRLM - 8.40 oz

(Kelsey Creek (David Wesner) KC-4 - 28.75 oz)

Skunk mentioned before about these being exactly between the thicknesses of the FBMCG and the FBMLE. But the LE's were .32 and these are .31 with a Saber grind. So it makes sense they are heavier.

Thanks for doing the homework GUNSITE!
Man I want one bad!:D
Almost 10 OZ more than a Heavy Heart!
