So I picked up a Mora Eldris a while back - wanted a small, stainless blade for utility and camp assist. I never could quite get used to handle configuration or the sheath, so finally got around to modifying it.

This is a pretty standard build for me, 3/4" copper pipe ferrule, hickory handle secured with JB weld, waxed leather in aluminum rivet Kydex sheath.

Freed up about a quarter inch of usable blade from under the plastic and added a bit of length to the handle. Still a very handy size.

Nice mod/ Carried and used mine today at a recption. Some may think the size is not usefull, but I like it in spite of the "seems larger than it looks for its size"pocket feel.

Love it! My Eldris sits in a glove box, because I hate the handle. Great job!
