hey, do any of you know if hedgehog leather works will make sheaths for anything other than ka bars or trackers? an rc-6 to narrow it down a little
 
yea i just sent them one asking about it. do you have a sheath from them. they seem pretty expensie but at the same time all the reviews about them praise them.
 
No I dont think they will do one offs, you can suggest it for a future project though. I have one for the tracker 1 knife it is awesome it made me like the knife that much more. great craftsmanship and customer service was great too.
 
It really, really depends on what you are looking for. I don't have anything by them. You are right, they are pricey. There are many sheath makers here on the forums that could do up a nice sheath for you. What do want? Leather or kydex? firesteel loop?, pouches? etc etc. The more complex the sheath (esp. leather) the more time/materials it takes to make and hence more $$$$
 
somewhere on here i saw a maker who does leather and kydex. they looked amazing. i just came down on orders for hawaii so i think i might go with kydex because if the humidity
 
Sounds like you saw one of Martin Swinkles sheaths, he does some really nifty stuff. :)

For kydex, I've seen Dave Brown stick his nose in here on occasion so I know he has some of the RC knives in house, not sure about the RC6 though. Rainwalker also does some mighty fine work as well as does Steel Nut.

Theres a ton of sheath makers that hang out in the Sheath forum here on BF, you might throw out that question there as well.
 
thanks! ans just so you guys know. got an email back from hedgehog. very quickly might i add and no they dont them for anything but trackers and ka bars
