OK, Im sorry for bad mouthing emerson knives before I was qualified for opening my mouth. A while back I got a used one and decided that emerson knives must suck because thatone did. (no logic there) Well I just got a 2000 Commander SF, and I am going to now attempt to remove my foot from my mouth. I love this knife. Its brand new. I took advice from someones post and took it apart, wiped everything down with tough cloth, cleaned it, and put it back together, blue loctited the blade, and I must say, I am really impressed. Anyway, just wanted to apoligize. Hopefully you will accept.

I haven't been around here too long, but have always been an avid EKI user and admirer. I think most of the guys around here don't require an apology (although I don't know how bad you put down EKI).

You know, its funny you say that Ray. I almost did just that with a cqc 7 a few months ago, left finger, 1st knuckle. Im going in for surgery soon. So i guess I've paid my dues.
