This is a commissioned piece for a young lad who came to me with a rather crude drawing of what he wanted. We refined the design and selected materials over a slew of emails before he was satisfied. He also ordered in a chunk of premium Claro Walnut for the handle. This is what I came up with for him.
Blade: 4 1/4" x 1/4" of forged 1084fg with forge-finish flats and 1200 grit hand rubbed bevels
Handle: 4 3/4" of figured Claro Walnut with s.s. pins, and "glass breaker"/lanyard loop butt end.
Sheath: 6-7 oz W&C leather with horizontal carry belt loop.
