Let's see em the knives that have been handed down and the ones you hope will be.
I'll start
The knife my father had in his pocket the day he passed and the only brand he'd carry.

Grandpa and Grandma's deer knives. Yes Grandma could part a deer out just as good as he could and took part in ever hunt. He'd pull it up a tree on a block and tackle and grandma would go to work. The personal had marks on the spine from her using a rock to break the pelvis.
These two filled the freezer for many a year.

Now for the ones I hope get passed on. I own way to many knives but don't consider many to be ones I want passed on to my children. Obviously the ones above but knives I've owned.
I consider the spyderco subhilt to be that knife. It just gives me the fizz ticks boxes for me brings back memories and times. Knives that sucked but were just cool looking in the late 80's early 90's. Spyderco and Butch took that idea and made it out of really really good materials fit and finish and just overall quality.
