Held my first small sebenza today

Just received my small Sebenza all the way from NW Cutlery in the US and satisfied a 3-year wish ever since I saw my first Sebenza.

Cuts like a razor out of the box - got me some strange looks from my co-workers at this grown man shaving his forearms with a knife! I could wax lyrical about the beautiful finish, the faultless balance, the glass-smooth action, and the rock-solid lock, but I guess you folks already know all of that... Functional elegance at its highest.

Looks like your hooked. Just wait till you get a decorated or wood inlayed one. Try one of the large classic 2000 sebbies. Man...this addiction just won't quit. You most definitely have the single finest folder in the world! Have fun using it, that's what it's made for. Your buddies at work will never understand.

Seems like the first thing most of us knife, uh, enthusiasts do when we receive a new knife is to remove a patch of hair from the arm or leg to test the edge.

This is why after a year and a half of living with me, my roommate, who works at a bookstore, noticed that this guy she was helping with a purchase had patches of hair missing from his forearms.

She asked, "You collect knives, don't you?"
He said, "Yeah.. how'd you know??"

Congratulations on the new sebenza, mine doesn't ever leave my side.
