Helicopter blades - what kind of metal and can a good knife be made from one?

I've got a reason to want a knife made from a helicopter blade. Does anyone have any info on this type of thing or know of anyone who has made a knife from a copter blade.

This will be a fixed blade, possibly bowie but maybe a shorter working knife.

Any info you can give me is appreciated.

Used to fly them years ago and the blades were made of honeycomb aluminuem. Be tough to make it out of it

Some of them have titanium in them.

In a somewhat related theme, perhaps you could get a Trace Rinaldi custom with handle made out of the carbon fiber from an F-18 wing
