Helko 6lb Yankee axe!

I just recently ordered a Helko 6lb Yankee felling axe after debating about thier Tasmania offering and felt that the 6 pounder would better suit me. Recieved this quick response after emailing them with some questions:

Hello Darrin,

To answer your questions:

The poll on the Yankee is not hardened.
The cutting edge is roughly 5 3/4"
Due to the shape of the blade, this Yankee axe is primarily intended for felling, though it should perform adequately for chopping as well.

Geez, I'll be 39 this month and I feel like a kid at Christmas time, I cant wait! Will post pics when I get it.

I hope it works out well for you on that particular axe hoping that it's not "finished" like the Classic Line. I have one of their axes that I re-handled but not a Yankee.
