Hell Razor or Heavy Heart?

So, being disgusted with the poor performance of every knife I've ever owned I started poking around the internet trying to find the ultimate solution as it were. I eventually stumbled across a description of INFI steel and looked into that, needless to say I'm impressed and now posess a very strong desire to actually own one instead of looking at pictures.

My question is wether to grab a Hell Razor now, or wait for the Heavy Heart? I want a knife that can take my abuse whilst camping and hiking and such, right now I'm leaning towards the HR but I thought I'd ask some opinions from some of you guys first.

HR, buy it now, if you decide you would rather have the HH you can sell the HR without any problem (probably at the $ you have in it)

You can never tell how long the HR's will be around and no real idea when the HH's will be available so grab a HR and put it to use while you wait

:D:D

If you need to do any chopping with it, I'd hold off.
The HR is a mighty fine knife though.

why do you say that walking man?
is it because the hell razor is thinner?

Cheers calico
parcel farce will be delivering mine tomorrow btw, cant wait!!!!

Yes, but moreso because of the length. If you need something heavy duty, you might want to see if anyone has a HOFSH for sale.

My three cents (having HR and HOSH): 1) The HR and HH are suited to quite different purposes. The HR seems more of a great rough duty knife where some "lopping" and prying describe rough duty. The HH would stretch into the "chopping" (leave the axe at home) and demolition category. 2) I wouldn't want to put a HH in my pack unless I really felt the need for maybe 2+ extra pounds. 3) There's no guarantee that you'll find it easy to get a HH. Quantities and prices haven't been anounce and they could very easily go faster than you can click.

welcome to the forum and nice first post - all i can say is buy the hr, sell it if you don't like it and then get the other. You can't go wrong with any busse but be warned they are addictive !

good luck with whatever you decide to do !!

I was very impressed with my green/black paper HR. So much so I just bought a 2ed one from the company store in tan/tan. I can't decide which one to make a beater, maybe both. Point is its a great knife, and available now.

I would have to say the HR is a fine choice, if you wait any longer it wont be available. If you want my input...you should get your hands on as many AWESOME infi as you can. We or the infi will let not you down....PERIOD...

Done and Done, gonna be ordering up a Hell Razor as soon as possible, thanks for the input guys.

Oh man, it looks like Jerry has some salesmanship competion in Amy.

Welcome sol717. Good choice on the HR. And don't be shy about beating the snot out of it.

Heavy Heart...hands down the best of the two if you're going to be out camping, backpacking, survival training, etc.

Now if you plan on getting in a fight with a bunch of Ninjas...well than the Hell Raiser would be the way to go! ;)

I like the HR because it has some tip on it. Busse makes a ton of fat chopping blades like the HH, but the HR is a pretty unique design for the most part. I would get one because there will be plenty of other chopping style blades available in the future. I'm waiting for the Fusion Battle Mistress, myself.
