Hell Razor sheaths

I use a Spec Ops Brands knife sheath(long size-8") & it fits O.K. but looks great!

Same here - slight mod to mouth of kydex, and it fits like a glove, looks good.

If I can ask, where did you order these sheaths from? Sounds like a good plan to me, if I ever get my HR. Been charged just waiting....arrg.

I ordered my sheaths direct from Spec Ops... others have bought them elsewhere, gun shows, etc.

I like the large survivor with the expandable outside pocket.

Here is a pic with the SJT inside, and the FSH for size comparison.

Fits like a glove! The length of the kydex liner is about 6 5/8", which is perfect for the HR.

I was considering the Spec Ops long version, but I am concerned about the excess length.

Has anyone tried the short version by taking out the retaining screw as some did for the SJTac?

p.s. sorry for the crap pics, gotta do some learnin' about that...

Hi Rat-30, Can you tell me how you mods the mouth of kydex liner in Spec Ops sheath? Mine fits O.K. a little loose. Thanks

There are several methods to heat the kydex insert. I have some experience with kydex, and use a heat gun, and welding gloves.

1. I used a heat gun *VERY SPARINGLY* to heat the mouth until just shiney and pliable.
2. Press knife slowly into sheath.
3. Use welding gloves and squeeze molded the mouth to the handle and choil. Hold for a minute or until kydex cools enough to retain shape.
4. Try fit, adjust as needed.

This whole process takes longer to type than do after a little practice.

Good luck, hope this helps!

John
