This knife feels great in the hand, and the laminted blade sharpens easily and takes a wonderful edge. I haven't used it enough to know how well the edge holds up.

On the negative side, it is a bit large for pocket carry, and due to the polished blade it is nearly impossible to open with a pinch grip. Also, the nail nick is small.

Very nice. Handled one last year & I thought it would be perfect for official Scout outings. I've been using my Opinel #8, but the Dokka felt better in-hand during wood-carving. Eventually I will either get a Dokka or the Skala.

Very cool! Reminds me of the EKA folders. Is it similarly priced? Or, as I fear, way more costly? :o

The triple laminate Helle knives are pricy, but they make a similar knife called the Skala that has a 12C27 blade and a Cocobla handle that is more reasonably priced.

I have noticed that some lockbacks have a small amount of vertical blade play when you put pressure on the edge. How about Dokka, or is the lock solid?

Looks great, I just read an article about it in Tactical Knives. Looks like typical Helle quality to my eye. Their factory edges are insanely sharp. I like the thought of a folder with a scandi grind, the more I think about it.

I haven't noticed any vertical blade play, but it does have a very small amount of horizontal play.
