There has been much demand for a scandi folder.

Some really very fine custom versions were produced (by David Hull for example). Then Brisa brought out a magnificent folder about the same size of a small sebbie, and there has long been the EKA Swede 82

Now from Helle there comes this:

What do you reckon?

Laminated 3 1/2" blade w/curly birch handle. Looking good :)

Ooo that's a nice one...

The Enzo folders look cool too but have a more modern look to them that doesn't quite fit with that kind of knife, well I think so anyway, and I'm sure EKA knives work well but they look kinda funny to me. I think if going by looks alone this one's my favourite.

That looks like a folding version of their Eggen? (I think) I like it, hope it's not too expensive or too big to pocket carry.

I definitely will be getting one. I loved the Helle Fire I had...before my brother got it as a gift...this one looks very handy...The handle is 4.6 inches so this will be a nice sized back pocket or pouch knife.

I picked a new WK-2 up on the bay for $61!!! It's a very very good knife and It has replaced a few of my fixed blades for woodwork. Hand forged in Finland by Harri J. Merimaa a 3rd generation knifemaker. http://www.kolumbus.fi/harri.merimaa/Folding knife.htm.
Not sure about the Helle... I recently bought an Odel and it's a great knife but just not the one for me. The handle is very slender but had a nice weight and feel to it. Reinder antler does make a great handle.
