Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around the last couple of days absorbing some really great information about Scandinavian knives and, given the absence of a search function for non-paying members, thought I would ask about the knife mentioned above, the Helle Fossekallen. I've been wanting to replace my (small) collection of "tactical" knives with something more traditional and practical.
In general, if you own or have owned Helle knives, how have your experiences with them been? Where have you purchased them from? I've seen a lot of members recommending Ragnar at ragweedforge.com and was just about to pull the trigger on another Helle model yesterday before realizing it was out of stock, which gave me some time to think.
I see the Fossekallen model on Ebay and at knifepro.com and was curious to see if anyone had experience dealing with the latter? I'm leery of giving my financial information to a lot of different websites without first checking up on them; I'd like to hear your experiences.
Thanks,
Diesel
