Picked up the Helle Futura recently, I was amazed on how sharp this knife came out of the box, I could have shaved with it. Took it up and cut up some card board boxes with no effort.

The handel on this knife is what caught my attention first, It was well made and smooth to the touch (wooden handle). Good blade lenght ( just over 4 inches) for general use like gutting and cutting. The Triple laminated stainless steel Seems to be pretty strong. The leather snap style sheath works well.

Looking into getting the Helle Symfoni also.

I have a Helle Nying and it too is a great little knife. I use mine a lot with food too. It is great for cutting a steak at the dinner table or any other food for that matter. A nice hand-filling handle too!

Congratulations! This is very good knife and very good blade. Only cons is that it is easy to scratch, but also easy to polish (if you like to).

Thanks, Vassili.

Lostcaveman,
I have a Helle Symfoni that I'm interested in selling. It has never been used or carried, but it is heavily fondled :) It includes the original box, papers, and polishing cloth.

Send PM if you are interested.
