I've had my eye on this one at a local store for a couple of weeks. Absolutely beautiful knife, my only gripe, and what kept me from picking it up, is that the lamination isn't centered in the blade. After closely examining every pic I could find online, I believe this to be the norm, rather than the exception. Did a bit of research, and decided I was being too picky.
So...I bought it :) very nice knife, fills my hand well, very comfortable. Now this was the only one they had, and residing in the case, it had aquired a couple of dings in the edge, fortunately these sharpened out quickly.
And Wow..is it ever sharp now..6000 grit waterstone, leather strop with white compound, then plain leather strop.
Any other "helle yes" moments out there? :)

Helle knives are awesome. Have three different ones. All have laminated blades and will take and hold a razor edge. Good choice.

I was on the hunt for a leukku and I settled with the Helle because it was way better finished than others available in the market. Don't regret it although it's way too big to be an everyday user (I'm not a Saami...). Still love the knife, I'm a sucker for big blades... The sheath is top notch, too. Mine is plain 12c27, which is an awesome blade steel IMO. I have two laminated Moras and a laminated Fällkniven which are impressive in their own range. So, double Yes here !

I haven't had a "Helle yes" moment yet.
However, I just discovered the awesomeness of what is... The Scandi Grind:D

With that said, I'll have more Scandi fixed/folders in my collection soon. This Enzo has me wanting a lot more Scandi!
