Helle Odel or BRK&T Highland Special?

I thought I had decided on the Helle Odel as an all-purpose 4" fixed blade. It is a feast for the eyes, a reputable brand, and would be my first try with Scandi-style blades, which I've been curious about. However, I keep thinking of Bark Rivers. I am very fond of my Mini Canadian, so I know I'd be satisfied with a Highland Special. Whenever I consider a knife nowadays, I automatically think "how would it compare to a Bark River?"
 
I have a couple of Helles and a couple of Bark Rivers. All are nice knives, but if I were in your shoes, I'd get the Highland.
