Helle trofe blade steel??

Ive had a Helle trofe for a year. I like it alot, and find that the triple laminated blade holds its edge well. Ive been wondering lately about the types of steel in the blade. Some of s.o.g's triple laminates have an inner core of vg-10 with outer layers of 420hj. I looked on the Helle website and its simply listed as "Stainless". Do any of you know what is used?

The Helle laminate is a carbon steel core protected by stainless 18/8 lamination.
