Hi guys
I was quite an active member quite a few years ago, have had a few Busse's (SH1, Ergo BM, Mean street), so first things first....
HI!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Ok, the reason i'm here (originally, 5 hours ago, before getting INFI fever all over again) is to get advice on a blade for a mate of mine. He works at a glazing/windowframing company, is rapidly trashing the TOPS he bought and is interested in a busse. I've been out of the loop for long enough i don't even recognise any of the models around at the moment!! So, help needed...
His specs...
Must have a blade shorter than 4 inches (less than 3 would be ideal)
Must not have a choil (apparently it catches on the thick packaging plastic he cuts and drives him insane)
Tougness is important, it will be used for light prying, cleaning up edges of laminated glass, the occasional toss into wood or accidental drop onto concrete (this chipped out the edge on the TOPS from waist height)
Must have a high grip handle, it's a hard use knife, and his hands sweat, A LOT.
That's about it..... Suggestions?
And for me.... thinking.... what's the thinnest (blade) busse commonly available? I love the big choppers, but my EDC needs to be light and a great cutter, i don't pry etc with my knives. 3-4 inch size range again.
If any collectors live in North eastern Melbourne (Aus), it would be great to get an idea of some of the current line in person. photos only tell you so much.
So help out an old member!
James
