Been lurking for a bit and thought I would introduce myself. Just recently caught the traditional bug from lurking in this forum. Already have the fixed custom bug so this is a double hit to the ol bank account.

Anyway, been doing a lot of reading here. Seems like a great place, might hang my hat for a bit if y'all don't mind.

Here a little pic of my budding traditional collection. Sorry about the pics, may need to consider photography classes next. :D

My other passions besides knives and firearms would be German Shepherds like the 3 year old male in my avatar, my constant companion.

Look forward to learning much more here in traditionals.

You really do have good taste in knives (and not just because I see 5 in your collection that I own too!). Welcome!

Welcome to the Darkside! Bwahahahahaha!!! :D

Appreciate the warm welcome. Yes, the forum knives are turning into a quest I think. Looking forward to seeing if we can get the 2013 off the ground.

Nice collection Mink . Welcome and remember; If you're going to carry a knive, it ought to have class. Slip Joints Rock. :)

Hi there Mink, and welcome.
As others have also said...you have some lovely knives, I love the Stiengass fixed blade - the Sheath is a class act all on it's own!
Your choice of slipjoints again.....class Sir.

Nice to have you aboard, Mink. That's a fine selection of knives you've got there.

I have to say welcome aboard, as well! You have a fantastic collection already. Is the chopper a steingass?

No, the chopper is by Tim Olt out of Michigan. The scales are 5470 year old Bog Oak from Burl Source.

A very nice collection you have there sir  Welcome aboard :)

Yes, very nice collection you have there Mr. Mink. But...I don't see a peanut. You realize you do have to have a peanut. It's mandatory.
:D

Carl.

Yes, tried acquiring a Case damascus peanut via trade, but it did not work out. Will continue to keep an eye out.

Current project is to see what kind of patina forms on that S&M. My wife thinks its a little strange that I keep offering to slice up her apples for her.

Welcome here,
In deed is a great place to hang around. I love German shepherds too, but I live in a small flat so no chance of a big dog, instead I have Tato
