I have been lurking around the forum for about a week now. And you all seem like a great bunch!! And yes I couldn't resist! Go figure! I have just received my Gen. 4 3.5 Spanto Flipper in OD Green as of yesterday! I couldn't resist the good deal I found.

Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. My name is Justin and I have been a CRK guy for the past while and finally branched over to RHK. I have been into knives since I was a kid, but really didn't buy them til about 1 1/2 ago and have been quickly moving on up. Needless to say I'm glad to enjoy what the herd has to say and offer, as well as to own one now.

The knife is really a fine piece of craftsmanship! The tolerances, the quality, definitely the bad ass look going on here, and yes the customization. As you all already know, duh! :) It did come dang sharp I must add! I'm trying to get down the flipper on it. I've been practicing some and I think I've got it down about half the time, so I think I'm getting there...

Overall the knife is very smooth opening and closing, I love the standoffs! Very nice touch there. Lock up is solid, And of course the iconic spanto, not as thick as so many made it out too be. The 3.5 is the perfect size for me. Can't wait to put this knife to some good use!! Well that's all I've got for now my new friends. Cheers!!

Cheers and congratulations! You're a step ahead of me in terms of the herd and I'm genuinely jealous. They are great knives. You made the right move, and if I may be so bold, lets see what you got!

Congrats and welcome. Enjoy that spanto. Once you find the sweet spot on the pivot and master preloading and firing the flipper that thing will flip like a dream 100% of the time. I look forward to some pictures if that sucker!

Hello,

In the future a couple spacebar / return key strokes to separate sentence would be very welcome. But I understand the excitement of "joining the Herd".

Congrats and welcome.

Haha! Yes I will throw up some pics today. I fixed for ease of reading for everyone

Thanks!

Often, I only have minutes to spend here/there...or I'm viewing things on a mobile device. Anything that makes things "easier" is appreciated.

Look forward to the photos; but that's probably obvious (because we have a few threads devoted to images and new scores).
