lol @ "testerbaters". that would be a perfect addition to that list. i've never even thought of spine-whacking anything except for my woman tamer before reading bladeforums.DRider said:Damn it! I think I'm a Bench Droid...
But flicking is so fun!
how about....
testerbaters! "Is your palm sore from whacking too much?"
Great stuff. That's a nice folder, the ergo on the handle appears excellent.
Thanks for the link for those who missed our classifications earlier!![]()
yeah, duncan goes nuts with the mechanics of his knives if he wants to. the action of the pivot on mine is a manual flipper, & soooooo smooth, definitely the smoothest i've felt, although i haven't flipped a carson or a lightfoot. rj martin just came out with a flipper pretty recently (the devastator) thing looks wicked as well. i wonder if he would do it up in the old spearpoint that the 1st incarnation of the avenger had.. gosh, can anyone point me to a place where money grows on trees?GarageBoy said:MMMMM DUNCANs! I saw his D/A Lockoutable Auto at NYCKS. Come to think of it, it's a triple action. Button/Scale/thumbstub
uppin for a couple more ooh's & aah's.alan aragon said:up for those who might have missed the pics.. yes, i feel like a proud dad.
thank you very much, esav! the compliment means a lot. these are the 1st knife pics i've ever taken & posted, so i'm admittedly overly excited about them.Esav Benyamin said:REAL nice pictures. He could use a couple of them for advertising!![]()
yes indeedy, although my accent is pretty california-ishSethMurdoc said:just as an aside, love the thread title
every time i read it i think of someone calmly reading "Hello Blade Discussion Forum, Long Time.." with an english accent, and then abruptly yelling as loud as the can "Duncan Pics!!"
gives me a laugh every time(awesome blade + photo's as well
gives a great impression of the grind geometry (not just lines, but the actual depth of the grind, and the essence of what it is))
