Hello, I bought a knife at a cigar shop yesterday; I like it quite a bit, and it seemed that the price was way too low. However, there is no name on the blade, just "D2" for steel type, and a logo which I do not recognize.

First the data;

Blade length - app 3.75"
Blade steel- D2 (Don't know if it's CPM-D2, I suspect not.)
Blade with- app .145"
Grip length- app 4.75"
Grip width- app .51"
Grip material- Looks like Micarta!
Lock type- Liner (Works well!)
Clip type- Looks like titanium!
Liners- Stainless Steel
Action- Flipper with great action and a nice tab!
Weight- app 6.2 oz. (The SS liners are pretty thick, and nothing is relieved!)

The only marks on the knife are "D2" and the logo. I'm sorry, it didn't show up that well in the pics, but I'm working on it! Another interesting thing is the pivot screws; they're not T8, T6 or T-anything, but flat heads with very thick slots. The only other screw visible is another ¾ slotted head, somewhat smaller but still fairly large.

Before I post all the pics, here is 1. Do you recognize the logo? Thank you all so very much for the help!

If you like it, thats all that counts. D2 is a tool steel and very hard (with the correct heat treat). It is tough to sharpen , just takes more time, but it holds an edge for awhile. Sounds like the price was right and you are happy with it, thats really all that matters. Enjoy!
