Hi Dan,

I've sent three emails now regarding the Monster Nessie I'm on the list for. I'd much rather discuss things in private than have to do this in the forum, but I don't know how else to get you to respond. a reply to my emails would be appreciated.

thanks

Dan, I too would like to hear from you, I have sent you multiple emails regarding my Monster Nessie in 3V. Please let us know what is going on. It is more than a little frustrating to see new knives being offered when prior commitments are not yet fulfilled.

I'm here. Just started a new semester and adjusting to it is tough at first.

I will post some updates today.

The knives coming up for grabs ate extras...not new orders.

 How can thee be extras if you have orders that have not been filled yet (that paid a deposit)? I'm not trying to stir the pot, but I know many people that admire your knives and never order because of this type of situation. Many times it is better not to be on the list (and pay the deposit) and just pick up an extra. I don't know how much people talk to you directly about such issues, but trust me it is being talked about. Hope this helps.

Cancellations, transfers, etc.

Plus I have to make extras any time I make a batch of knives. If somehow one gets messed up, wouldn't you hate to be the guy that gets this email: "sorry, I messed your blank up and since I don't have any extras you don't get one...here's your refund". To avoid that, I make more knives than I take orders on. Just the nature of the beast.

I have probably a dozen finished knives sitting on my shelves. I rarely pull them out and put them up for sale. Usually someone asks and I handle them privately. If you check my forum for sales threads, you'll see I haven't put very much up for sale for over a year.

I'm not sure what you're hearing elsewhere, but the facts can be easily found here on my forum...right at the source.

Thanks for the thread. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in getting as much shop-time as possible I don't update my forum as much as I should.

Fortunately, I now have control of my class schedule and updates will be more regular.

Thanks to those who are reading this and have been patiently waiting for completion of their orders - it will be worth it!

Dan
