There is a lot of informational posts here by the community. I want to say thank you to everyone. All it takes for you to find things is the willingness to want to use the search feature. I don't own an Esee yet, but by the end of next week I should own at least 1 (hopefully 2 :D). I will be getting the comprehensive survival Kit & it comes with an Esee 6. I'm hoping that my finances will allow me to order a 5 as well. I already see myself getting at least 3 Esee knives (but i'm sure I may end up with more than that). I have my heart set on a 6, 5 & 4 & a few other items.
 
Welcome aboard....sounds like you have a nice list of knives...you can't go wrong with any of them.

Don't ignore the Izula, Izula II and ESEE-3. They are great knives for EDC and every bit as tough.
 
Thanks gentleman. They say its the small things in life that counts & something simple like getting a response from you Mr Randall means a lot. Your products speak for themselves & this is a nice size community that stands by the Esee label. I look forward to purchasing your products. I'm pretty new to blade forums since I've joined i find myself on this forum on a daily basis. I'm either over in the Himalayan imports thread (I can appreciate a hand made Khukuri), or here browsing. Researching different survival topics & knives, which there is an abundance of info on. The Esee community pretty much answers all my questions with the search feature before I need to even start a thread, hence why this is my 1st thread in this area.

I definitely wont thats why I said I'm sure i'll end up with more than 3 Esee, knives. I can see these quality products are addicting
 
Great choice on the survival kit, and it comes with the best survival knife going. Welcome to it man.

Boy that was a dumb thing to say......:) But glad you are here DirtyPaulie. Now you can have a front row seat to the horse whipping that ISheldon will be getting.:)
 
I'll chime in as a new guy too. My daughter enlightened me about ESEE, she has a pink Izula.

My gray Izula should be in my hands Thursday. I can't wait. I've already pored over the posts here and learned quite a bit.
