Hello, Alan, and welcome aboard.

This is the first time I have seen anyone present themselves in the "What's New" forum, but hey, if the shoe fits

You might want to place a link to your site, Alan's Attic, in your signature line. It will really help increase traffic.

Alan,

Welcome!! Salutations!! Greetings!!
There is much to learn here and many upstanding people to meet so grab a cold one and sit back. Be very careful though. This place has a very high addiction quotient. If you have a family or enjoy sun light please go elsewhere.

Take care,

Jim

Alan, you might want to consider adding other brands to your selection. Brands such as Maxam and Frost Cutlery have an extremely bad reputation with most Blade Forums members. The reason for this is the fact that many of their designs are copied from other makers, and this is generally not approved of by us. Some brands that do sell well here are CRKT (original desgigns or collaboration knives, fairly low price, good quality), Benchmade, Emerson, EDI, Microtech, Buck, Gerber, and Boker to name a few. Since the knives you carry are imports, you might want to start with CRKT, they are made in Taiwan (yeah!), and their designs are either original or made with the permission of the designers (collaboration knives).

A while ago, I remember there was a dealer who was flamed rather severely when he started advertising certain Maxam knives which were copies of Spyderco designs. I wish you luck in your business, though I would suggest that if you want customers from BFC, that you find other brands than Maxam.

Take care,
