Hello everyone I'm a newbie just made my first purchase , I caught the knife bug

I just ordered two knives from Jeff over at the cutlery shoppe because when I saw the cold steal code4 and the Al Mar sere 2000 in digicam they looked cool as heck to me, I know the code 4 won't be to heavy to edc , do you think the al mar is to heavy to edc ?

I will edc up to an 8 oz knife. Its all a matter of personal preference.

Welcome to the forums. You'll surprise yourself by what you're willing to carry. When I first got my ZT0550, I thought it was a tank and too large for me. Now it's one of my favorites.

I have a Code 4 coming on Saturday myself. Looks to be one hell of a knife!

I EDC my BK9 whenever I can. It doesn't strike me as being too heavy, so I don't see how the Al Mar will be considered heavy.

My advice though, if it does seem heavy, is to give your body about a week to adjust to the new weight and its placement. After such a period of time you won't even notice it.

I'm new to the forums as well, I find myself Edc'ing things I never thought I would i.e CS voyager XL but I dig the knife and put up with the issues
