I'm here to stay for a while, hopefully.

Hope everyone is doing well and Happy New Year to all.

Today is the first day that I have my PC set up and have not had a chance to browse through everything, so what is new. What's the latest Gossip in the Knife World.

Nice to see that you'll be able to stay awhile. Well, Bill, Yangdu, and Pala will be going to Nepal at the start of February. Bill and Yangdu will be back in about a month, and Pala will stay behind. Rusty has agreed to fill in during Bill's absence.

Thanks Bill, but it will have to be One, since I have lost a considerable amount of the green stuff and have to watch my expenses. One income instead of two and two mortgages instead of one, plus two kids. I'll email you the address.

By the way I never wanted it called the Cobalt Special, I wanted it as the AK Bowie. In fact on the Original Drawing that I made of the knife, didn't I call it the AK Bowie. Or am I mistaken.

I think Rusty is the one that called it the Cobalt Special. Maybe we'll name a new knife after him. Except that no one will want to buy a knife called the "RUSTY SPECIAL". Sorry Rusty, the opportunity for a joke was there and I took it.

I don't recall starting calling it the Cobalt Special. Once someone else started it, I remember calling it the Cobulls---, and the Khobaloney, but not the Cobalt Special. Come to think of it, however, Cobalt Special does lend itself to the acronym "c.s.", and I'll let you guess what *I* think that stands for, my fowl feathered friend.

Check out the "Testing done at Lynn Griffiths..." by Yvsa ( should be around 1-24-00 ) to see a link to a pic of the result.

The sword of Charlemagne the just,is ferric oxide, known as rust.
Great Caesar's bust is on the shelf, and I don't feel so well myself.

Hey Cobalt!!!
Welcome back!!

I believe the AK Bowie is the knife that you had in mind although I did take some artistic license on the prototype and the kamis improved on it by making it 98%.
It is the toughest Bowie Knife ever made!!

If you mix milk of magnesia with vodka and orange juice do you get a phillips screwdriver?

Khukuri FAQ

Thanks Phil!!

Yvsa, the knife looks like my drawing, but without your artistic talents on wood, it may have been a much more difficult road for the Kami's.

Rusty, not much is going on with me, and no I was not in Jail for the last 6 months or anything like that. Just working on special projects for my company that took me out of state and then I got to move my household, which is not completed yet. Just an Ingineer working hard.

And Yvsa wasn't around last time. Hope for the best and prepare to liver the wurst.

Ma'am, I DID NOT call you an unfit mother.
The judge did that in this court order.
