Hello everyone.

I have been reading and learning a great deal from this forum for over 3 years, and finally decided to join.

I am a 14 year old boy/young man, I live in British Columbia Canada, in a small town where you can see virtually endless Boreal Forrest from any part of town...that is unless you are inside a building/room with no windows...or a door:eek:

I absolutely love the outdoors, bushcraft and survival, gear, flashlights, and KNIVES!:D

For what its worth, I currently own 3 Becker’s. (and a multitude of other knives)

A BK-9 with the included Remora. And an after market CRKS kydex sheath.

A BK-11. I sold the 11 to my little brother with a leather sheath I made for it, because it does not fit my hand very well, (I wear an XL glove) I then bought an Izula 2, which feels perfect.

And The “Becker Train Wrecker”. I love this knife...the sheath not so much...I find that the BK-2 and the BK-11 sheath dull the blades immensely. The sheaths for both are made from glass reenforced nylon, and I think that the glass fibre is whats dulling the blades. :grumpy: :(

So to fix that, I am looking at buying a Spec Ops Combat Master sheath (short) in OD.
From my own measurements, the short version should fit the BK-2 like a glove.
But to be sure, I would really like to see some pictures of your BK-2 in a Combat Master, or even just tell me if it will fit with no pics...Just so I know for sure that it will fit before I buy it.

Below are just a few pics. Enjoy!

The wood you see (and muuuch much more) was split with the knives in the picture.

Welcome, yes the BK2 will fit in a short combat master. Youll be happy with it, spec ops sheaths are top notch.

Welcome. Lovely knives you have there. The Combat Master will work just fine for the 2.
You may have to mod the liner a touch to fit the thick blade, but it really only takes some boiling water and about ten minutes.
Somewhere around here, I posted instructions. Just do a forum search for "Krispy Kreme" (seriously).

Welcome. Sweet pics. I like pics of knives. Mmmmmm pics. Keep em coming kid

Welcome to the forum!
nice pics.
I agree with you on the Izula 2 over the BK11 - big hands here, too.
You might also like the BK14 with some of Sh@rp's aftermarket scales - original izula handle, BK11 blade so same overall length at the izula 2.
What do you think of your Fallkniven's - I've heard in the past they had some problems with rolling/chipping when used to do things like split wood. any issues with that?

good show.. if you've been browsing here for 3 yrs then I'd say your love of knives isn't just a fad...:)

nice knives and pics..

Beautiful blades.

Is that an a1 I see?

Aye, it is:D Its a great knife, but I really dont care for the kraton handle, it shows alot of wear really easy, great great knife though. I have had my F1 for over a year now, I absolutely looove my f1, the thermorun handle is a lot tougher then kraton:thumbup:

I was looking at the BK-14 before I bought my Izzy 2, but I decided against the 14 for two main reasons. 1, I would have to buy a kydex sheath for it which would cost me about what the knife did. (although I could make a leather sheath for it...?) 2, the handle is the same size as the Izula, and I was buying an Izula 2 for a reason... the larger handle. Although I will most likely end up with a 14 eventually...:D

The Fallkniven's are great knives, and are completely worth the money IMO. I have had no issues with my A1 while battening both soft...and veerryy hard wood in any condition, from +30 Celsius, to -40 in a snow storm.

I was just making a bow drill set yesterday with my beloved F1, I ended up with a small, I mean teeny tiny, roll about 1 inch down from the tip from alot of drilling, it was barely noticeable and was removed as soon as soon as I stropped it on my homemade strop. (a small one inch by six inch piece of vegy tanned leather on an old cut down to size stir stick, with some Autosol as compound)
Other then that, I have had no problems with either of them. Great knives.

Thank you very much! I am trying my best for my Becker head # :D
Is there a thread with the qualifications of what I need for my Becker head number? Or a list of some sort?
