It's been a while.

I've been working my butt off for the last year, with my spouse back in school studying to become a dental hygienist, Gave a lot of sweat and tears to my employer that layed me off yesterday due to lack of work. #'s went from being so busy that I had to pull overtime everyday and being committed 6 days a week to having practically nothing to do the last few weeks. It sucks.

That being said I've been doing everything in my power to get back to work asap. But I doubt there is immediate hire in my line of work, there will most likely be a dead period. Which at the same time I'm not entirely disappointed about, I haven't had the chance to get out much, so I would like to spend some time with my girls and the dogs, my ruck needs some dusting...

I've been meaning to give spring snares a go for a while as well building a snow cave with the girls.
making a primitive fire using flint & steel and testing some bits of gear.

My question to you is, what have you all been up to?
What are the new trends?

Welcome back Cuphead!

Sorry your j-o-b has (hopefully only a brief intermission....) tapered off. That stinks.

I'm not a long-termer here, but to catch you up from what i've been seeing.... Folks have gone over and over batoning (probably nothing new with that subject), the standard fire-starting in different conditions topic (always fun) and more recently topics are more about recent outings/trips.

So, i wonder if maybe it's a transitional period in terms of subject matter here on WS&S.

Been a while since I've seen you post! It's been the same around here, pretty much. Less people, but same topics.
