It seems the last time I was really active around here was about 2010. I see a few names I recognize...

I have health issues, but regained some vitality over the last year. Headed right downstairs to the shop and started cleaning off ten years funk. Also headed back to forums to see what's up.

I hope to make a few more knives, no hurries, no worries, no pressure. Just for me. :) All stock removal. Can't hold hammers any more. :(

I also hope to catch up to new times.

Fitzo!! Glad to hear from you again.
The new batch of members is sort of like the old batch, but they use funny words like BLOG and Facebook. People still ask why their HT failed without telling us anything about what the did;).
Sam Salvati came back recently. A few other older members are starting to drop in lately.
Have you heard from IG lately?

I have not heard from IG for a year or so. He called me out of the blue one day and that was the last we chatted. I've been asking but no one knows his status other than "missing". He has some sixth sense about me posting, so maybe he'll feel the ether tingling or something and show up.

I'm slowly remembering stuff. Maybe after a while of catching up and getting current, I may even try and offer some help again. It'll be a while before I trust what I say about making knives, though! :)

Thank you for the good wishes! I see your avatar is a strat. Playing guitar is what has kept me "sane" for many years, even as my skills erode with the arthritis. I love music. Hope it helped you during your health issues, too.

Playing music for me is as important as breathing. It's part of my soul. I'm glad you had that as well, and you can always play slide!

Wow, a name out of the fog! And, a good question. I remember when Jeff's headspace suddenly changed and knives and forums became things of the past. Totally lost touch with him after that as emails became fewer and f-e-w-e-r...

Good dig, Stacy! I haven't even remembered where the jig is, yet. :)
