Stonewashed is the "traditional" type of finish you get on any other knife that says stonewashed. It tends to be rather smooth, with the typical random scratches in all directions. At least that's what I'd call it.
Comp tends to be shinier, no real scratches, but there are machining marks. It is almost as shiny as satin finished, but not as smooth, and doesn't have the unidirectional finish pattern.

If you plan on using the knife, rather than displaying, then you will likely be better served selecting the cheapest option, since use will modify the esthetics, and make your blade finish selection irrelevant.

I usually get stonewashed because it is close to a bead blast finish. If my knife gets scratched up I throw it in my bead blaster and in a few minutes it looks like new.

All of the above 👍

My only take between the two is. The handles on the stonewashed seem smoother than on the comp finish. So I’d guess that the handles are on the knife when tumbled ??

My Tgulb came in double cut finish which I really like. But I have several blades in comp and stonewashed. I would say, from my experience, to get stonewashed if you plan on using it regularly. Now that I think about it, I have an excuse to get another Tgulb in stonewashed.

Stonewashed is usually the cheapest version if you don’t want coated. That’s why I have quite a few. :)
