Hi all,
I've been learning from you for years, but unfortunately somehow recently caught a bad case of Buck fever (let's face it, probably from you) and haven't been able to cure it. I'm hoping to treat it with some therapy, counseling, or whatever else you can provide, and figured it was time to jump in and join the forum.
My story is probably like some of yours...grew up a hunter, Dad (my big, tough hero) always used his trusty 110, and the first knife I bought 21 years ago was, of course, a 110. Over the last few years I've drifted more into Buck fixed blades. I live pretty close to the Post Falls factory and have the good fortune of getting to stop by from time to time. I look forward to continuing to learn from all of you and sharing what I can.
Without at least one photo this is pretty boring, so here are a couple of standard issue 124s. The micarta version purchased new, the birch recently rescued from the bay and polished back into respectable shape with wet dry sandpaper and cape cod cloth.

Cheers!
