Hello from a Kershaw lovin' noob!

Hey everybody. I've been poking around and thought I'd introduce myself now that I'm a paid member. I'm not new to knives in general, but I am new to the enjoyment of collecting. Until recently, I did not own a single kershaw. Then I went to my LkS and handled a bunch. My dealer then gifted me a new Tremor. Even though it is a Chinese model, I was super impressed with the knife. So skip ahead a few days and I am totally hooked. Specifically on KAI, but I want one of everything. Damn you people! I thought knives would be a cheaper alternative to guns, but that's not turning out so well.

Ordered from kershawguy and now picking up all kinds of stuff. I look forward to many more years of enjoyment in knives. Thanks for the awesome forum!

You'll love that Damascus Skyline! You can get CF Blur blems through Kershawguy or you can pick up a new or like new one on the Exchange...you just have to be patient. By the way...welcome and yeah I'd say you're hooked for life. Wait until you get your first taste of a ZT!
 
It's a slipery slope I may need to get a sponsor and start attending meetings for this hobby...

I'm noobish and into Kershaws and ZT's as well. Got a Blur and a ZT0200 about 6 months ago. Have a pretty good collection going right now.

Kershawguy is a good source. Love the pricing on blems. Can't get everything as a blem though.

There seems to be three stages of knife addiction/collection.

1. initial enthusiasm, awe, wonder and credit card debt
2. development of an appreciation for the technical aspects of knife maintenance and construction along with deepening financial commitment
3. continued expansion of knife history and technology and second and third jobs to support knife purchases

Research into this insidious affliction continues.
