People,
Howdie!
I had a splended time at the BLADE show. Not once did I come accross a foul face. Wich, to be honest, as humans, is quit unusual. Out of frustration, bordum, anger, what have you. No way, we were dignified! Another goody-
Everyone was friendly. Not just, patting my head, smileing, and nodding. When needed, people took the time to figure out what I was saying. Wich was just about all the time. The fact that I had my wheel-chair, was, point blank, not an issue. I wasn't hurried. Helped in so many ways. From the realazation that I would be there, I knew I'd have fun. I remember how every-one acted, warmly towards me. I expected the same. By far, I under-expected. I really hope, this was not my last year, or that I'll be breaking, for next years. Hope you all have a pleaseing year. I could say- NO DOWN-FALL moments,
but, I know, in reality, tizs not possible. I had rather say,
MAY THE REACTIONS be of value- the greatest value-GODS VALUE! One I'm sure, most are aackuanted with.
Every day, all day, I had people give me some kind of remark, stating were they stood with Christ. The ones that went there, were comfortable with letting it known, it was a strong hold. I was in good company.

Can't Wait For Next Year!
Stay Cool!
LOVE, Kim

Hey Kim, It was a pleasure to meet you. Every time I saw you, you had a beautiful smile on your face... I look foward to seeing it again next year.

I was going to make a thread Monday about how dignified the Busse crowd was but could not find the words. You sure did!!! Your words are as beautiful as your smile, thanks.

BTW- you are so lucky to have Mike, the man is all class and kindness

it was nice seeing you again too, it must be very nice to have a dad like yours, buying infi for you all the time. lucky hogette

Thanks for the post Kim,

Sorry I missed you this year, the offer for a motorcycle ride still stands, maybe we can do it next year.

I always look forward to seeing you and your dad !

You rock Kim !

I don't think we were formally introduced but we did share a few words (and the same CRK shirt). I didn't get much of an opportunity to speak to your father either until the final day. It was nice to meet you both and put a face to the names. Take care and I look forward to seeing you and your father next year at Blade !

You are a rare pair. I feel fortunate to have met you...and look forward to visiting with you again.

It's people like this who renew your faith in human nature.:)

Great to see you again KIm! Glad you had a good time. And yes, We will see you next year:thumbup:

Kim, in the time I was there I was able to introduce myself to your father but not you. From what I can tell he is a great man. And since we really have no option but to be in many ways like our parents I'm sure you are a great person as well. Next year we'll have to remedy the lack of an introduction.

It was nice to meet you Kim.

I'm sorry it took me a while to understand you. I'll try to do better next year.

Being single I felt a little left out during the who listens well contest. I thought about striking a quick bargain with you. I'm sure you could have given Barb-B-que a run for her money, but I don't think I could compete with Princessgunner.

Any way, I thought about it, then I looked over and saw your huge father. Maybe next year.

Kim -

You inspire all of us, even if we have not met you in person, may many of us meet you in spirit.

May God continue to Bless You, and Us through You.

Sincerely,

John

Kim, it was a pleasure to see you again! I enjoyed our conversation and look forward to seeing you (and you keeping your Dad in line;)) in the future:D

Kim, let me echo what Tony stated.

I met your dad on the last day (Sunday) at the final Busse offering. He let me look at one of his sheaths, and we talked a little bit about Alabama. I found him to be an extremely nice fellow, and I don't hold it against him (too much) that he pulls for Auburn. :D

Hope to see you at Blade next year and formally make your acquaintance. Till then, you stay cool too!

Hi Kim,
We met at the 2005 Blade and hung out at the Induction Dinner, I'm glad you're doing well and thanks for the kind words.
We hope to see you next year at Blade, until then take care.

Kim, It was great to spend Saturday afternoon with you. Thanks for having lunch with me! When life starts to get me down, I think back of what all you have been through, and how much you inspire me! Thanks for being such a strong Christian woman. I want to be just like you! Praise The Lord for what He has done. See you at Blade next year...

Love you, sister hogette,

Very well put Kim...I wish I would have had the privilege of meeting you and your dad. You both sound like wonderful people. God has blessed you with a dad who obviously has a beautiful spirit. And I'm sure your dad can testify he has been equally blessed. It's a rare but lifting quality to see/hear people speak openly and freely about their relationship with Christ. Your dad and our Father must be very proud of your ability to do so. I'm sure you make Him smile everytime you express your faith and love for Him. Someday maybe I'll have the pleasure and privilege to meet you and your dad. Until then please do me the honor by considering us friends in Christ.
