Hey all, i seem to keep getting directed here from google so i figured i would register and join the party 
About me, Im 25, from the Syracuse area, i have carried a knife every day since i was 12-13 and was allowed to in Scouts(Eagle Scout). I have found them to be an asset in my life through the years. I am also a bit of a gun nut i have a couple Ar's, as well as various other bolt and shotguns. I spent seven years in the summer working up in the Adirondack's, so the outdoors has become a real passion of mine and love hiking, camping, hunting really anything outdoors related.
So why i am here. I am a volunteer fireman and i was looking for a good knife for my firegear as when i am in my bunkers my EDC knife isn't really accessible. I was looking for a good fairly inexpensive knife that if i lost would not be the end of the world. I am not really a fan of the whole window punch Seatbelt cutter fad...i find it to be junk usually....so ill browse the appropriate forums and see what i can find
