Hello all! just wanted to stop in and say hi! Been on the forum for a month or two now but haven't posted here till now. I've only had modern folders till now and reading everyone's posts on here got me inspired to give traditional folders a try and boy they don't disappoint! I didn't know what I was missing!

My first traditional bought off a buddy.

I'm hoping to start collecting some GEC, Case, Barlow, and Rough rider.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better! Your kindness and Generosity allways amazes me!

Daniel.

Welcome to The Porch Daniel, and thanks for saying Hi :) Nice to see we have another member from Texas (we already have quite a few here) :)

Welcome from a fellow Texan! Where in the state do you live? I live about an hour west of Houston:)

I live in the panhandle. About 15 miles west of a little town called Shamrock. About an hour and a half from Amarillo.
If you want more info on location then that let me know and I'll try to point you in the right direction! Not too many people know of Shamrock or Amarillo!

Daniel.

Congrats on your Trapper and welcome to the traditional forum. :D

I've ridden through Shamrock on the 40 a number of times on my road trips to and from Illinois.

We live in the same state yet are almost 10 hours apart!! Lol
Glad to have you on board:thumbup:

From one Texan to another, Howdy! Even though I was born and raised in Southeast Texas I am still in awe of just how big a state we got! In the time it would take me to drive up to you I could also be deep into Florida! Definitely stick around. Good folks here and lots of good info about these knives we all love!

Howdy from Austin! love the scales on that knife! My beloved peanut has the same scales.

Thanks man! Some of my favorite scales I've seen! I'd love to see a pic of your peanut if you get a chance!

Daniel.
