Hello all,
Dont know if there are any members floating around that remember me but hello to members old and new. Been out of the knife scene for a while but im getting back in.

I recently started up a business again, part time, selling knives and such. I have a friend who is looking for a large camp type knife, primarily for hacking/chopping/splitting etc. But since I have been out of the scene for so long, I dont know what to recommend. My favorite chopper is my Swamprat knives desert rat. Are there any production knives out today that can hang with the rat? How is the Ontario RTAK-II? What about the Sog jungle canopy? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the replies thus far.

HOLY CRAP! PhilL and stjames!!! How the heck are you guys? Glad to see you are still going strong! Im doing great as always. Just got side tracked for some years lol. Been collecting flashlights and yo-yo's. Then I made the mistake of getting into bullwhips and back into pistols. Why are hobbies so expensive? What's new with you guys?

Nothing new here, same old same old, another day older and deeper in debt.

Louie the last I heard from you, you were going for the Guiness Book of Records for Longest Hawk Throw. What are you throwing now flashlights and yo-yo's? LOL

Lmao, yeah. Throwing yo-yo's down, and unlike tomahawks, they always come back. After I hit the 101' mark, I just stopped throwing, just like that. Not even sure why. I recently got back into throwing hawks and knives. I have video, ill try to post it in the tomahawk forum, if there still is one. We need to get together again some time. I told my brother lenny that we are back in touch and he is excited. We were reminiscing recently about all of us meeting at the knife show. Do you still go to them?

I haven't been to a knife show in a while. It seems like the NY shows are now in Jersey.

Only 101 feet on your hawk throws, I thought you'd be up to a mile by now.

Hey, what do you call a 'boomerang' that doesn't come back when you throw it?

Great to hear from you Louie, I am still poking around the fringes here and trying to keep up with the new kids. Cut down on collecting a lot since I started a family but still treat myself once in a while, going to soccer games and swim meets and dance recitals is my new hobby.
