From right to left, here's me, Les DeAsis of Benchmade, Dexter Ewing, and Jim O'Young of Speed-Tech at the Benchmade booth.

There was a new 9500 Mini Stryker auto in the back room there. No picture - looks pretty much like the 9100, but smaller.

OK, how many knives on Dexter? If it is less than ten I'll stop buying Sebenzas

There's a Benchmade-Elishewitz 730, which appeared on a store or two before the SHOT Show, but it's not exactly an Ares. There are a couple of threads in the Reviews forum here, I think, and here's the link to the SHOT Show pictures I posted in the Benchmade Forum:

Here's a link to Benchmade's new 855 and 856
http://www.benchmade.com/ultbb/Forum1/HTML/000196.html

And the Model 42 Balisong:

Benchmade has also posted pictures of their new stuff at www.benchmade.com, under the "Benchmade 2000" link there.

Since you are at the right place/time, any news on the M2 710 Axis? Thanks!!

James,

Thanks for posting SHOT Show info on Bladeforums. Have you seen the new knives from Columbia River Knife and Tool? Can you preview them here on the Forums? Actually, anything you put up from the SHOT Show would be appreciated. Dexter looks ok for being SHOT.

Thanks James. Great to see all those smiling faces.

James S. only 10 don't worry you are good as gold on that. (Wouldn't want Chris and Ann to have to scale back production

.

You should see Dexter at the end of a show - easy to tell he is in good shape since he can carry twice his weight in knives around all day.
Have fun folks!

Any sign of AL Mar? Any news apart from the new SERT auto? Any of the older designs back in production?
