Hello fellow southner.
it was 108 out today, not too hot i guess.
if its humid where you stay at, be sure and look up the different blade steels before you go dropping cash on a pretty blade.
it helps to know if your blade can stand the humidity, or if you need something a little more stainless.
dont forget to get some lubrication for your blades. its easy to tell when a blade is wet, but harder to tell when its just humid enough to rust.
stay protected, and you will keep your peace of mind.
